Ricky Evans

Ricky Lane Evans, 55 of Emory, died Saturday, September 6, 2014, at Hunt County Regional Hospital in Greenville. Graveside service will be held at Pippin & Hill Cemetery at 10:00 AM Friday, September 12, 2014. Visitation will be Thursday, September 11, at Wilson-Orwosky Funeral Home Chapel from 6-8 PM.

Mr. Evans was born on October 23, 1958 in Commerce to Alton Leon and Joy Nell Bloodsworth Evans. Ricky married Lori Lane Woods in Miller Grove on December 22, 1978. He worked as a self employed horse trainer.

Survived by wife: Lori Lane Evans of Emory; Sons: Ryan Lane Evans, and wife, Stacie, of Garvin, OK and Reece Lane Evans, and wife, Kaleigh, of Emory; brother: Dave Evans of Cumby; sister: Ginger Brooks, and husband, Jeb, of Sulphur Springs; mother: Joy Nell Evans of Cumby; grandchildren: Ryder Lane Evans, Kalin Watkins, Joseph Watkins, Ryle Lane Evans; numerous other loving family and friends.

Preceded by his father in 2001; and 1 son: Robby DeLane Evans in 1982.
