Ricky Wayne Medders

Ricky Wayne Medders went to be with the Lord on June 26, 2023, at his residence in Point, Texas.  He was born to Billy James Medders and Helen Medders Stevens on July 11, 1959.  He was 63 years old when he passed. 

Ricky was of the Baptist faith.  He served in the National Guard and loved to hunt, fish, ride horses and watch football.  He was a bull rider in his younger days. 

He is survived by his mother, Helen; children, Brooke Miller of Lexington, Texas, Cheryl Meuth and husband Logan of Lexington, Texas; brother, Ronnie Medders and wife Jean Ann of Point, Texas; grandchildren, Cole Miller, Ryder Darby and Stetson Meuth; nephews, Jeremy Medders and wife Jennifer of Emory, Texas, Brandon Medders and wife Bekah of Point, Texas; great nephews, Dustin Medders of Emory, Mox Medders of Point; great nieces, Bristol and Brynnli Medders of Point; uncles and aunts, James and Vivian Warren, Aaron and Sandy Rivers all of Point, Texas, Sue Medders of Emory, Texas, June Patterson of Mt. Pleasant, Texas, Jo Ann Prather of Kilgore, Texas and Altie Chestley of Sulphur Springs, Texas.

Ricky is preceded in death by his father, Billy Medders; grandparents, RW & Georgia Faye Warren and Walter and Lois Medders; uncle, Bobby Medders, Buddy Patterson, Zane Prather, Bill Chestley, Aussie and Joy Terry.
