Robert W. Frost, Sr., 90, of Emory, passed away March, 20, 2013 at Clyde Cosper Texas State Veterans Home in Bonham. He was born in Belmont, MA on February 14, 1923 to Guernsey and Margery Pierce Frost in the historic Frost family home built in 1775. He proudly served in the US Army during WWII earning a Bronze Star for heroic action during battle. On July 25, 1945 he married Sue Elizabeth Mathis in Sudbury, MA. During his early engineering career, he worked on the team that developed the first microwave oven. Upon retirement to Emory in 1985, he and Sue enjoyed ranching and watching their grandchildren grow up.

Daughter: Barbara Hartman and husband Jim of Midland
Grandchildren: Ashley Hartman, Stephanie Smith, Rob Frost-Dean, Kevin Frost, and Keeley Frost
Great-Grandchildren: Taylor Smith, and Riley Smith
