Ronald Schantini

Ronald Gilbert Schantini, age 65, of Point, died as the result of an automobile accident, in Rains County, late in the afternoon, on Wednesday, Oct. 29, 2014.
He was born in Racine, WI on Oct. 9, 1949, to Oscar and Lorraine I. Parker Schantini.
He married Nita Diane Staggs in Dallas on Jan. 4, 1969.
Mr. Schantini was a diesel mechanic for many years....working on 18 wheeler trucks.
Survivors include:
Wife: Diane Schantini of Point;
Daughter: Teresa Ramsey of Point;
2 Sons: Randy Schantini of Point and
Jason Schantini (Amy) of Point;
2 Brothers: Richard Schantini of Florida; and
Rodger Schantini of Colorado;
Grandchildren: Ryan, Brandi, Nicholas, Mason, and Ryder;
Great-grandchildren: Kayden, and Rhylee;
Mother-in-law: Jerrie Staggs (Mel Mahfood);
Sister-in-law: Brenda Pittman;
Faithful little companion: Missy;
Preceded in death by: parents
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Wilson-Orwosky Funeral Home in Emory.
