Sheldon Lieberman

Sheldon (Shelly) Leonard Lieberman, age 86, of Sulphur Springs, formerly of Emory, died at Hopkins County Memorial Hospital, in Sulphur Springs, on Monday, November 18, 2013. He was born July 2, 1927, in Brooklyn, NY. His parents were Samuel and Rose Hersman Lieberman. He married Ann Hall, on October 16, 1982, in Las Vegas. A grave side service is scheduled for 10:00 am, Thursday, November 21, 2103 at the Emory City Cemetery. Rabbi Neal Katz will officiate. Arrangements are under the direction of Wilson-Orwosky Funeral Home. He proudly served his country by joining the U.S. Navy at a very early age...fighting during WWII, and seeing active duty during the Sought Pacific Theatre. Later he was an aerospace engineer and attorney...making contracts, and working with different contracted government companies. Shelly was a member of Temple Beth El in Tyler.
Survivors include: Wife: Ann Lieberman of Sulphur Springs, Sons: Steve Lieberman of Sacramento, CA, Richard Lieberman and wife Karen of Woodland Hills, CA, Craig Lieberman of Santa Barbara,CA, and Ken Lieberman of Sacramento, CA. Step-son: Chris Tombrello of Omaha, NE, Step-daughters: Susan Tombrello-Kaiser and husband Richard of Huntington, Beach, CA, and Karen Burgess and husband Tim of Pasadena, CA.
Grandchildren: Jennifer, Jason, Jessica, and Carissa
Step-Grandchildren: Alex, Haley, Kinsey, Sasha, and Gena
Great-grandchildren: 5
Plus numerous other loving family and friends
