Sherman Hollis Tucker

Sherman Hollis Tucker was born on January 31, 1937, passed away peacefully on November 22, 2024. He was born to Frank Sr. and Ada Tucker in Dallas, Texas. He was a man who touched the hearts of all who knew him, Sherman will be remembered for his uplifting and kind spirit.

Sherman’s adventurous nature and love for the outdoors led to many joyous moments spent fishing and exploring nature. He often enjoyed riding around in his golf cart, collecting cans, a simple pleasure that showcased his playful side. His goofy sense of humor brought laughter to those around him. He was a devoted father and grandfather; his children and grandchildren were his proudest accomplishments. He cherished the moments spent singing and playing guitar with friends and family. The melodies he created will echo in the hearts of his loved ones, a legacy to remember him by.

He is survived by his daughter, Tambra Boyd; grandchildren, Shannon Langford and husband Kevin, Brittany Beauvais and husband Tim; great grandchildren, Dalton Allen, Lexee Palomo, Lynzee Palomo, Brodey Palomo, Brandon Palomo, Randy Palomo, Scarlett Beauvais; siblings, Ollie Roy Tucker, Jennie Foote and husband Billy; nephews, Bodean Tucker and  Lynn Tucker.

He is preceded in death by his son, Tracy Tucker; parents, Frank Sr. and Ada Tucker; siblings, James Tucker Sr., Frank Tucker Jr., Lillian Phillipps, Elvie Tucker; nephews, Larry Tucker, Billy Foote Jr.; nieces, Gail Leatherwood, Donna Tucker, Angela Sims.

Sherman Hollis Tucker's vivacious spirit and enduring kindness will be dearly missed, but his memory will continue to inspire those who had the privilege of knowing him. His life was a testament to the beauty of adventure, laughter, and love. May he rest in peace.
