Tammy Caroline Patterson, born in Antlers, OK, and lived most her life in Emory, TX, left her earthly home to join her Lord and Savior on January 28, 2022, at her home in Emory.
Tammy Green was born on April 4, 1961, to her parents Joann and Floyd Green in Antlers, OK. She met the love of her life Randy Patterson in 1983 and they married on May 06, 1984. Together they lived in Emory raising their two girls.
Tammy was a homemaker most her life, she enjoyed gardening, animals, and anything outdoors. She had a green thumb and could grow about anything. She could not leave a store without grabbing a more plants to add to her collection. Tammy enjoyed life with her best friend and husband of 39 years by her side. In 1994 Tammy promoted from Mama to Nonnie. Nonnie loved her grandkids and loved taking them for hikes, swimming and even sometimes off roading in the golf cart on nature trails. Tammy loved her family and friends unconditionally.
Tammy is survived by her husband Randy Patterson of Emory, daughter Kim Patterson of Emory, daughter Stephanie Stevens and husband Carey of Whitewright, Mother Joann Turner and husband Jerry of Greenville, brother Dewayne Green and wife Judy of Hugo, OK, sister Deborah Lane of Paris, sister Rebecca Baker and husband Jim of Greenville, grandchildren Greggory Jackson, Cody Jackson, Kori Jackson, Scott Samples, Kenleigh Nolen and husband Isaac, Seth Samples, Addison Mizzell and numerous nieces and nephews.
Tammy was preceded in death by her father Floyd Green, stepmother Wanda Green, father-in-law Jerral Patterson, mother-in-law Marjorie (Bobbie) Patterson and niece Brandi Goodrich.
Memorial service will be February 12th at 1:00pm at the Calvary Baptist church in Emory with Rev Jimmy Jarrett officiating.
