Tommy Lynn Shedd

Graveside service for Tommy Shedd, age 78, of Emory, will be held on Wednesday, March 22, 2023, at 2:00 pm at Turner Cemetery in Emory, Texas.

Tommy was born November 16, 1944, to Arvel Shedd and Versa Mae Courtney in Sulphur Springs, Texas.  He married Tressie Ragland on April 14, 1962.  They cherished 60 years together.  Tommy worked as a mechanic at Master Halco and was a member of Bright Star Baptist Church.  He will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his wife, Tressie Shedd; daughters, Jeanette DuFault, Tonnie Boone and Terry, Lissa Bandy and Rodney, Dianna Shedd; granddaughters, Tina Crider, Dina DuFault, Rachel Sherrin, Ashley Boyd, Brittany Warren, Brittney Miller; grandsons, David Crider, Tommy Lewis, Brenden Davis; 16 great grand children and tons of nieces and nephews; brother, Jacky Shedd and wife Jan.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Jimmy Shedd, Dale Shedd, Larry Shedd; sister, Dorothy Duncan-Powel
