Virginia McClelland

Funeral services for Virginia Raye McClelland, age 76, of Emory, will be held on Saturday, August 6, 2022 at 10:00 A.M. at Wilson Orwosky Funeral Home with Bro. Montie Parker officiating. Interment will follow at Dunbar Cemetery with Bryan Riddle, Henry Harrison, Robbie Hartog, Rick Reese, Marcus Gotcher and Brandall Fountain serving as pallbearers. A visitation will be held on Friday, August 5, 2022 from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Wilson Orwosky Funeral Home. Mrs. McClelland passed away on Saturday, July 30, 2022 at Harris Methodist Hospital in Ft. Worth.

Virginia was born on September 8, 1945 in Dallas to Raymond Washington and Mildred Pauline Moss Lynch. She married Royce McClelland on December 7, 1968 in Emory and he preceded her in death. She worked for Rains I.S.D. and retired after 32 years. She was a member of Dunbar Union Church.

She is survived by her children, Charles Riddle, Debbie Shockey and husband Bill; grandchildren, Bryan Riddle and wife Betsie, Heather Harrison and husband Henry, Amanda Gotcher and husband Marcus, Elisha Hamilton, Melissa Johnson, Kristin Hamilton, Eric Shockey, Krystle Shockey; great grandchildren, McKayln Fountain, Brandall Fountain, JayeCee Hood, Bentley, Shalyn Gotcher, Desmine Gotcher, Diamone Gotcher, Trinity Hamilton, Christopher Hamilton, Devin Hamilton, Autumn Riddle, Logan Riddle, KayDince Shockey, Laycee Odom, Kinleigh Harrison, Laynee Harrison; son-in-law, Jerry Hamilton and numerous family and friends.

Virginia is preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Mildred Lynch; husband, Royce McClelland; daughter, Donna Hamilton; son, Donnie Riddle; granddaughter, Katrina Hamilton.
