Graveside service for Wanda Janice Northcutt, age 72, of Emory, will be held 12:00 noon, Saturday, July 1, 2017,at Dunbar Cemetery.
Rev. Rodney Williams will officiate.
Mrs. Northcutt passed away Saturday, June 24, in Baylor Medical Center
in Dallas.
She was born Oct. 19, 1944, in Sulphur Springs, to Andrew Jackson and
Rosey Lee Kennimer Hoover.
She married Owen Taylor Northcutt in Dallas on June 26, 1965.
Wanda was a hard working woman. Her last employment was as the
Recreation Director at Thousand Trails. She loved meeting people and socializing with them.
Wanda was a member of Emory Baptist Church.
Survivors include:
Son: Eric Taylor Northcutt of Emory;
Sister: Peggy Penney of Haslet;
Brother: James Hoover (Cathie) of Grand Prairie; and
Andy Hoover (Debbie) of Van;
Sisters: Julie Hoover of Irving; and,
Judy Hoover of Grand Prairie;
Step-Mother: Edna Hoover of Grand Prairie;
Step-Father: Bob Isbell of Denton;
Step-Sons: Taylor Northcutt of Sunset; and,
Ronnie Northcutt of Alvord;
Step-Daughter: Brenda Northcutt of Jacksonville
Numerous nieces, nephews, and many great, great, nieces and nephews;
Preceded in death by: Parents; Husband in 2006; Brother-in-law, Edwin Penney
