Wanda Prather

Wanda "Sue" Prather, 74, of Dallas, passed away Tuesday, July 22, 2014. Funeral service is scheduled for 2:00 PM, Friday, July 25, 2014, at the Wilson-Orwosky Funeral Home Chapel in Emory. Interment will follow in the Pilgrims Rest Cemetery in Emory. Bro. Billy Smith will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service from 1-2 PM, at the Wilson-Orwosky Funeral Home Chapel.

Sue was born in Emory on December 13, 1939 to Clifton and Oma Conrad Prather. She retired after working 34 years at South Western Bell Telephone.

Survivors include:
nieces: Angie Sumrow of Yantis, Tammie Pearce, and husband, Bill, of Navarre, FL; and Patty Howeth, and husband, Steve, of Cameron;
sister-in-law: Jo Ann Prather of Hawkins;
great-nieces and nephews: Brandi Allen, Shelby Pearce, David Pearce, Chris Pearce, Jessie Howeth, Nikkie Walthall and Kacey Howeth;
great-great nieces and nephews: Sydney Allen, Dade Allen, Clayton Walthall and Levi Walthall;
numerous other loving family and friends.
