William Strebeck

William Ray Strebeck, age 75, of Emory, passed away Friday, October 11, 2019 at his residence. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 15, 2019, at Wilson-Orwosky Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 16, 2019, at 2:00 PM, at Wilson-Orwosky Funeral Home Chapel in Emory with Bro. Jim Strebeck and Bro. Wayne Wolfe officiating. Interment will follow in Turner Cemetery.

William was born July 24, 1944 in Gober, to the parentage of Joe and Fannie Gowin Strebeck. He was a graduate of Rains High School. He married Donna Sue Roberts in Alba on July 19, 1963. He worked for Lone Star Steel, was a dairy farmer for a number of years, worked for Texas Instruments, and was also a hospital security guard.

His survivors include his wife, Donna Sue Strebeck of Emory; daughter, Pattie Sue Harford and husband Steve of Emory; son, Chuck Strebeck and wife Tina of Emory; sisters, Melba Wright of Alba; Patsy Whitworth and husband Hollis of Alba; brother Bobby Strebeck and wife Sue of Arlington; grandchildren, Derek, Katelyn, Kara, Emily; great-grandchildren, Lindzi, Gavin, Teegan, Maeleigh; numerious other loving friends and family. He was preceded in death by parents; brothers, Rex Earl Strebeck and Joe Alvis Strebeck.
